It’s SALT day and it was Lythan’s turn to set the challenge. She chose the theme Community of Faith based on Acts 2:42-47. I knew I had the perfect photo for this challenge – it’s of some of the congregation taken inside our church last year sometime. The annual report was being put together and one of the groups involved in that decided that it would be good to try to get a congregational photograph to use in the report. I felt it was a good example of people coming together as a community, not always agreeing but still able to worship and have fellowship together. I think the photo was actually taken one Sunday the girls and I weren’t at church so we don’t appear in it!
Supplies used are: Bazzill cardstock, October Afternoon patterned paper, 7 Gypsies stickers, foam letters from Hobbycraft (I think they were actually from the children’s craft section!) and embroidery floss.
As always, the SALT team have interpreted the theme in our own very different ways so it’s worth having a look at the blog and then hopping over to the team’s personal blogs.

this is such a beautiful layout. It is what clean and simple scrapping is all about. I love the embroidery detail in the corner!

Such a lovely response to the challenge – pity you weren’t in the photo. (Sorry, I originally put the comment on the next post by mistake – d’oh!) x
